Departure: Pickup from Muscat in a comfortable 4×4 vehicle.
Nizwa Fort: Explore the 17th-century fort with its iconic circular tower and historic battlements.
Nizwa Souq: Hunt for Omani khanjars, silver jewelry, pottery, and spices.
Friday Special: Witness lively goat/cattle auctions.
Scenic Ascent to Jebel Shams: Drive via rugged mountain roads to Oman’s highest peak (3,009 m).
Jebel Shams Exploration:
- Grand Canyon of Oman: Panoramic views of Wadi Ghul and Wadi Nakhr.
- Balcony Walk Trail: Cliffside hike to abandoned stone villages such as Ghul.
Return to Muscat: Arrive by evening (approx. 10–12 hours total).
